Hebburn Town match preview

Whitley go into tomorrow’s game at home to Hebburn Town in urgent need of points to pull away from the lower end of the table, having lost their last three league games. Their most recent victory was in the League Cup Quarter Final at Newton Aycliffe ten days ago.  Seventh placed Hebburn have also been on a disappointing run, without a league win since the turn of the year and with their last three games all ending in draws.

When the sides met on South Tyneside in October, Whitley ended a four match losing sequence with a hugely impressive 4-1 victory and they will be looking for a similar improvement this weekend. Andrei Ardelean made his debut at Hebburn and now with ten goals to his name, he will be looking to add to his tally, as will Olly Martin, who has also scored ten goals this season.

The Hornets could include three former Bay players in their side, the legendary striker Paul Chow plus goalkeeper Andrew Jennison and midfielder Lewis Suddick.
