Just Giving donations pass £2500

The club has been overwhelmed by the generosity of supporters and friends who have contributed more than £2000 to the Just Giving page set up only a month ago by Antonia Brindle to help raise urgently needed funds during the coronavirus pandemic. With no income through the normal sources of gate receipts, raffles, bar takings and functions in the clubhouse, the club still incurs running costs and bills to pay.  Chairman Paul Mcilduff said the club was enormously grateful to the fans and well wishers who have come forward with donations at what is a time of great difficulty for so many people. A donation has even been received from The Green Man pub near Wembley Stadium, a venue frequented by Bay fans before and after each of their three FA Vase Final victories.

More than £2,500 has been raised so far, almost three quarters of the way towards to original target of £3,500. All donations, however small, will be most gratefully received and can be sent via https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/whitleybayfc
