We are pleased to announce that Craig McFarlane has signed a contract for the coming season. The hugely popular and versatile defender, one of Whitley’s three time FA Vase winners, returned to Hillheads last September and was voted Players’ Player of the Season. Having played more than 350 games for Whitley Bay, he is the most experienced player at the club. Manager Nathan Haslam commented “I’m delighted that ‘Macca’ has agreed terms with the club. He is an absolute diamond of a lad and player, and his experience will be invaluable to us moving into the new season.”
