For their final pre-Christmas fixture, Whitley travel to Seaham Red Star this weekend to take on the side they defeated 4-2 at Hillheads on the opening day of the season. Seaham have struggled near the foot of the table but in recent weeks they have shown signs of improvement as they have strengthened their squad. Their latest acquisition is goalkeeper Chris Bannon, signed from Whitley in midweek, and he could make his debut against his former team mates. For their part, Whitley will be looking for three points to complete their first double of the campaign and give Mick Mulhern his first league victory since taking over as manager.
