We are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Tom Flynn will be staying at Hillheads for the coming season. He had been placed on the transfer list but following discussions with the chairman and manager, last season’s Player of the Year, also voted Players’ Player of the Year, has agreed to remain with Whitley Bay. Tom played in last night’s friendly at Blyth Spartans and his presence in goal was a significant factor in the impressive 4-2 victory over the National League North side.
