Members of Whitley’s Junior teams will be given free entry to tomorrow’s (Tuesday) friendly against Newcastle United, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult. The youngsters are normally only allowed free entry to league games but the club has made a special dispensation for this prestigious friendly.
Rob Atkin, Whitley Bay FC’s Junior Football Development Officer said “It’s a fantastic gesture by the chairman and committee to allow the juniors to get along to this game free with their season ticket. It is so important that our young players learn from these up and coming stars of the future by watching the senior side and reserves in action in this game against Newcastle and also over the coming season.”
