Defender Luke Taylor, who has agreed a new contract with the club, has spoken of his aims for the coming season, both at a personal and team level. The 21 year old, who has now made over 60 appearances for Whitley Bay since his move from Carlisle United Academy three years ago, believes a top three finish is within reach.
“My hopes and targets for this season are to try and get into the top three in the League, and really push one another to perform week in and week out.
“My personal target is to help keep as many clean sheets as possible, which will boost morale within myself and the team. I hope we can show everyone why Whitley Bay is one of the biggest clubs in the Northern League and really go far within tournaments and the League.”
