Ten years ago, thousands of Bay fans enjoyed a third consecutive trip to Wembley for the FA Vase Final. This year, in very different times, Whitley are celebrating again after reaching the @CPriday ‘Hopper & Son’ virtual FA Cup Final. This alternative competition with fans voting for their team on Twitter has provided lots of fun since the suspension of Northern League football.
Having battled through 13 rounds and beating several Football League sides, Whitley now have a virtual trip to Wembley to face London side Hanwell Town in the virtual FA Cup Final which will now be held on Saturday 24th April, at 7pm.
To create a bit more fun, we are selling virtual tickets for the Final! These are available for just £5 each. We are also producing a souvenir programme and everyone buying a ticket will also be sent a copy of the programme. Tickets and programmes will be sent online on or just before 24th April.
