As expected, the Northern League season will get underway on Saturday 5th September and Whitley begin with a trip to Cumbria to take on Penrith. The first home game, on Tuesday 8th September is the local derby against North Shields. Whitley then travel to Bishop Auckland on Tuesday 15th and after the FA Vase tie against Newcastle University, Newton Aycliffe are the visitors to Hillheads on Tuesday 22nd.
