Nathan Haslam has brought in experienced coach Andy Ferguson to fulfil the new role of Head of Recruitment and Assistant Coach at Whitley Bay FC. Andy will be involved in recruitment both at First Team and Reserve Team level and will work alongside Nathan and Reserve team manager Gavin Hattrick.
Andy told the club website “I started coaching at Cramlington Juniors where I spent six years, then the opportunity came to move to the Wallsend Boys Club. I have coached/developed over 30 players into professional clubs on scholarships and pro contracts. I’ve been First team and Youth team scout for Hull City then Sheffield Wednesday and for the last three years as First team scout at Bury FC.”
