Four pre-season friendlies have been announced, the first of which is scheduled for Friday 5th July, when Northern League Second Division side Ryton & Crawcroook Albion will be the visitors to Hillheads. Just over a week later, on Saturday 13th July we will be at home to former rivals Marske United, who were promoted to the Evo-Stik League last season after winning the Northern League title in 2018. The following Saturday, 20th July, sees another home game, when North West Counties League Division One champions Rylands FC from Warrington, make their first visit to Hillheads. Whitley will then travel up the coast to take on National League North Blyth Spartans on Tuesday 23 July. It is anticipated that further friendlies will be announced in due course.
