Striker Jack Foalle has today signed for Evo-Stik Division One East side Morpeth Town. Jack, who rejoined Whitley from Bedlington Terriers in the summer, has been in tremendous form this season, scoring 17 goals in 15 appearances, including a record breaking run when he has scored in each of his last ten games.
Manager Andy Gowens said that while he was very disappointed to see his top scorer leave, he fully understood that Jack wanted to test himself at a higher level. “He has been attracting attention from a number of clubs with his performances this season, which is quite understandable. Obviously we did not want him to leave but Morpeth went through the correct procedures and we wish him the best of luck in the future.”
Everyone at Whitley Bay FC would like to thank Jack for his tremendous contribution to the club over the past two months and we would like to wish him every success in his future career.
