Less than 48 hours after the final game of the season, pitch maintenance work got underway at Hillheads on Monday morning. The late finish to the Northern Alliance season, a consequence of the severe weather earlier this year, delayed the renovation work but the pitch should be ready for the first home friendly of the season, which is scheduled for Tuesday 17th July, when Morpeth Town are the visitors.
