Whitley manager Marc Nash felt there were plenty of encouraging aspects of Saturday’s FA Cup tie at Seaham, even though his side had to settle for a draw and a replay back at Hillheads. “We can take a lot of positives from the game such as dominating the first 35 minutes and maybe the last 20 as well. We were denied a blatant penalty for handball in the 2nd half as Seaham never had any real periods of sustained possession or attacking but were a threat on the counter. We had numerous entries into their box but I feel we lacked composure with the final shot or cross to finish them off.
However, we go again Tuesday with great confidence to get a result this time.”
