Mark Taylor is organising a tenth anniversary reunion of the players from Whitley’s 2006-07 Northern League Championship winning side. No one who was at the Durham City game on the final day of that season will forget the scenes of celebration on the pitch when news came through that Sunderland Nissan had lost and Whitley had won the title thanks to their 3-1 victory at New Ferens Park.
The reunion will be an informal get together at The Seahorse on Friday 9th June from 7.30pm. Supporters are more than welcome to attend.
